Taste of the Nation Toledo prepares for twelth event with kickoff party
On Thursday, January 18th Taste of the Nation Toledo will have a “kickoff” party to welcome this year’s ticket Ambassadors. The Ambassadors have played an integral role in selling tickets to past events. Last year marked the fifth consecutive year the event has sold out. Grant recipients to this year’s event will also speak to the group showcasing what their organizations do. Toledo’s 2007 grant recipients include: Toledo Grows, Northwest Ohio Foodbank, Toledo Day Nursery and The Aurora Project.
Members of the Press are invited to attend this year’s kickoff party. The party is being held at the residence of Dean and Becky Kasperzak. The address is 28589 East River Road, Perrysburg, 43551. The twelfth annual Taste of the Nation Toledo will be held Sunday, April 29th, 2007. It will be held at Cousino’s Navy Bistro at the docks. Every spring, thousands of the best chefs and restaurants donate their time, talent and product at more than 60 events throughout the United States and Canada.
